A masterpiece! Marco helped me a lot in choosing it and I am very glad that I followed his suggestion. I have had it for around 3 weeks now and the edge retention is amazing. I stropped on bare leather twice, but other than that it is going as strong as before. The VS1 core steel developed a beautiful patina with daily home kitchen use with no red rust spots. This is a tall blade with a large flat heel and it works perfectly in a home kitchen. I would recommend it without any reservation. (Also, the tsuchime pattern looks even more gorgeous in person)
